Help us improve financial aid completion in our region. Less than ½ of last years Sr. class applied for financial aid despite our state having one of the best financial aid opportunities in the Nation. This Campaign is designed to boosts college and financial aid application rates in Washington by helping high school seniors and their families complete applications for college admissions and financial aid.

Financial Aid Information Sessions – Students and families can join us for a live, online information session to learn about financial aid. We will discuss federal and Washington State financial aid programs including grants, scholarships, work study and loans. You will also learn about when to apply, how to apply.

Parent & Caregiver Financial Aid Information Nights – This event is specifically for parents and caregivers supporting their student in the financial aid process. In this session we will discuss the types of financial aid, how to apply, and parent’s role in the application process.

Financial Aid Completion Events – Completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is one of the best predictors of whether a high school senior will go on to college.

High school Seniors who complete the FAFSA are 84% more likely to immediately enroll in post secondary education. For students in the lowest socioeconomic quintile, FAFSA completion is associated with a 127% increase in immediate college enrollment.

Given the impact that applying for financial aid has on college-going, encouraging students to complete this form is a priority .

Student Success Mindset Course

Funding models for higher education are now shifting their focus from college access to completion therefore creating an urgent need to increase completion rates while producing graduates who possess the knowledge and the skills that the workforce demands.

The Student Success Mindset Program is designed to equip students with the perseverance and determination of an entrepreneurial mindset at the onset of their academic journey, empowering them to take ownership of their future while helping them develop the knowledge, skills, and behaviors that will enable them to succeed in academics and in life.
